Get to know Charlie:

I am a proud graduate of Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Virginia. My wife, Carol, and I live in Sewickley, PA, we have four children and nine grandchildren.

I began my career with Connecticut General Life Insurance Company in 1966 and continued with its parent company, CIGNA Corporation. In 1994, after 28 years with CIGNA, I founded Actuarial Business Solutions, LLC to develop the concept of applying the use of the Benefit Focused Defined Benefit Plan in small business versus its use in large business.

Accomplishments:

Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, Enrolled Actuary, Certified Pension Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter. Member of American Society of Pension Actuaries and the American Society of Financial Professionals. Charles W. Day has served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Pension Actuaries and on the President Jimmy Carter’s Council on Pension Policy. Member of Advanced Association of Life Underwriters, The FORUM 400 and the Million Dollar Round Table. He has also served on the Board of Directors of First Financial Resources, LLC.
